How Sol Garden works
Sol Garden is a living low-poly garden on Solana. Start free, grow across five garden plots, defend them in Garden Siege, hunt across four open worlds, and turn finite materials into gear and Golden Seed Mastery. Here is how the connected game economy works.
Free to play
Sol Garden is free to start. Tap Play now and you are gardening in seconds: no wallet, no tokens, no signup. Every new player begins at Sprout tier with the full home plot and enough planting budget to fill it.
Play now, no wallet needed
Your garden lives in your browser from the first tap. Plants grow in real time, earn Coins, and everything from Garden Siege to the open worlds is playable for free.
Bring your garden to a wallet
Connect a Solana wallet whenever you like and move your garden over in two taps to keep it for good, across devices. It always asks before moving, and it will never overwrite a garden the wallet already has: both stay safe.
Garden Keeper, the garden farmhand
Garden Keeper is a soulbound companion that tends your plot while you are away: collecting ripe yield before it rots, watering, and clearing pests. Each run costs Diamonds, so it is a convenience you fund. The first 200 accounts claim Garden Keeper free; after that it is 0.5 SOL.
Sol Garden is live on the web and as a native app on the Solana dApp Store for Seeker phones.
The $SOLG token & tiers
$SOLG is the token the whole economy is tied to. The game is free to start: every player begins at Sprout with a full plot. Holding $SOLG unlocks everything above it. The more you hold, the higher your tier, and the bigger and cheaper your garden gets. $SOLG is also how you buy premium items (the mythic guard dog, unique towers, gold run tickets), trade on the marketplace, and stake to earn.
| Tier | Hold | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Visitor | - | Look around, visit gardens |
| Sprout | Free - everyone starts here | Claim your Home plot + start planting |
| Gardener | 500,000 | 10% off planting, the Fae Glade, bigger Home grid |
| Botanist | 2,000,000 | 25% off, rare species, the Crystal Grove |
| Realmkeeper | 10,000,000 | 40% off, the Arcane Sanctum and Necropolis, full grid |
Holdings are read live from your wallet - no deposit, no lockup. Drop below a tier and your extra plots simply freeze until you top back up. Nothing is lost.

Grow your garden
Plant flowers, shrubs, trees and rare species across your plot. Every plant grows in real time and pays out Coins (the soft, in-game currency) on a timer while you are away - up to 8 hours of banked yield. Weather shifts daily and changes growth speed and payouts; plants have a climate they love (sun, spring, winter or night) for a bonus.
Five garden plots
Your garden grows with your tier - Home Garden, Fae Glade, Crystal Grove, Arcane Sanctum and Necropolis. Spin each real plot around:
Level up your plants
Spend Coins to level a plant up to 100. Higher levels pay more, and every 25 levels the plant evolves for a bigger boost. Watering and instant-grow keep things moving. It is the main Coin sink - your garden funds itself.
There are 30+ species across flowers, shrubs, trees and a glowing "rare" tier (unlocked by tier). A handful of Mythical plants are earned only through referrals.
Garden Siege
Garden Siege is an endless tower-defense mode. Invaders march in waves toward your Heart; you draft your own plants as towers and place them to hold the line. Survive, upgrade, and go as deep as you can - it is where the rarest loot comes from.
How a run works
- • You get one free run per day, then play more with tickets.
- • Earn Sap in-run from kills and cleared waves to build and upgrade towers.
- • Between waves, draft a roguelite boon (more damage, range, fire rate, crit, splash, Sap or lives).
- • Every 10th wave is a boss; every 100th is a Phoenix that rises from the ashes.
- • Clear wave 100 on a realm to unlock the next, harder realm.
Towers
Your roster is drafted from the plants you own, plus any unique towers you have collected. Each tower has a role - striker, guardian, sprinter or mystic - and an element, so matchups matter.
Run tickets
After your free daily run, keep playing with tickets. Silver tickets are bought with Coins; Gold tickets with $SOLG. Gold ticket prices climb with each one you buy in a day, and tickets can also drop mid-run. Both are renewable but soulbound, so they cannot be traded.
The realms
Twelve hand-built realms, each its own biome, board and lane count. You start on Meadow Maze; clear wave 100 on a realm to unlock the next, deeper one - and the deeper the realm, the better the loot.

R12The open worlds
Beyond the garden are four open worlds you explore on foot: Wildwood (levels 1-25), Sunscar Wastes (26-50), Frosthold (51-100) and Mega City (101-200). Fight monsters in real-time combat with dodge rolls and combos, hunt for suit fragments, and gather the materials that feed crafting and cooking. Kills and material sales pay bounded, daily-capped Coins.
Mining
50 ores across 10 tiers, from Copper to Eternium. Your Mining skill and pickaxe decide which deposits you can work. Tiers 1-6 cost Coins to extract and tiers 7-10 cost Diamonds. Ore is used for gear crafting, upgrades, Mine progression, same-tier exchanges and Golden Seed recipes.
Foraging & cooking
50 ingredients grow wild, free to gather but capped daily and gated by character level. Cook them with Coins into dishes that grant a timed Well Fed combat buff, or into meals for your guard dog.
Crafting
Turn ore + Coins into real, tradeable gear at the bench. Every recipe is character-level gated, and rare pieces also consume deep, Diamond-gated ore. Crafted gear is the same tradeable kind as Siege drops.
Everything you do (farming, mining, combat, crafting, cooking, foraging) feeds one character level up to 200, and every level grants stat points to spend on your build: attack, health, crit, defense or energy.
All 50 ores
Each tier contains five different ores. Every row shows the Mining skill and extraction cost shared by that tier; the exact ore inside a world deposit is revealed when you mine it.

The 51 suits are the characters: whole playable bodies earned from shards in the open worlds, from street clothes to golden knights and one legendary cow. There is no separate legacy Mage character class.
Characters & equipment
Your chosen suit carries one shared seven-slot equipment build: hat, outfit, cape, boots, companion, weapon and offhand. Armor contributes stats without replacing the suit model; weapons, shields and spellbooks remain visible in the character's hands.
All 51 characters
Monsters drop suit-specific fragments, and 12 fragments craft the character. Rarity is power: higher-rarity characters hit harder, with tank, striker, caster and balanced archetypes.
Characters and their fragments trade on the marketplace: craft them, sell spares, buy the ones you are missing.
Loot & collectibles
Garden Siege can award finishes, gear and materials across a deep rarity ladder. Tradeable rewards enter your inventory under the same exact supply rules as the rest of the game.
Wearable gear
The Forge offers gear for seven equipment slots: hats, outfits, capes, boots, companions, weapons and offhands. Each craftable gear type has 11 finishes made with ore + Coins, and every piece gives stats. Swords, shields, spellbooks and craftable companions can also drop from Garden Siege. Special companions, including Lil' Star, appear in their matching slot.
Tower finishes
Equip one owned drop finish in Character to restyle your Garden Siege towers. Every rank above Crystal also adds 2% to offensive tower stats:
Coin-buyable Terracotta → Wood → Stone → Crystal|Siege drops Obsidian → Golden → Diamond → Metal → Rainbow → Galaxy
Buyable up to Crystal. Obsidian and above only drop in Garden Siege, and each step up the ladder is rarer than the last - Galaxy is the crown jewel.
Equipment by slot
Browse the craftable gear models and special companions that fit each slot. The Forge badge marks craftable gear; the Siege drop badge marks families that can also appear in Garden Siege rewards. Rarity badges identify special equipment.

Guard dogs
Post a dog to defend your garden from raiders. The Garden Pup and Thornmastiff are bought with Coins; Cerberus, the three-headed mythic, is $SOLG-only. Fancier dogs catch more raiders.
Unique towers & high-rarity gear
Four unique towers - Flame Brazier, Rune Obelisk, Iron Cannon and Star Forge - can be released through finite Shop stock and the reward wheel. Exact live availability is shown in the Shop. Rainbow and Galaxy are separate equipment rarities above Mythical, followed by the final Named rarity.
Earning loot
Garden Siege rewards are randomized from the deepest level you actually finish. Completed depth decides the eligible rarity, then the game chooses a random available reward.
- Wave 10 - your first run reward is guaranteed. Nobody walks away empty-handed.
- Wave 50 - wearable gear starts dropping, and you can win a Silver ticket.
- Deeper still - rarer finishes and the chance at a Gold ticket unlock the further you go.
- There is a friendly daily cap on tradeable items so the economy stays healthy.
A higher completed depth unlocks rarer possibilities; it never guarantees a specific item. When a finite reward is sold out, it cannot drop until stock returns.
Finite supply & the player market
Web and Seeker share one global count for every finite item or material. Farming, crafting, listing and trading all use that same count, so no action can create an extra copy.
Renewable source reservoir
Farmable sources show how much stock remains. If one reaches zero, that source pauses and the item becomes marketplace-only until its displayed refill time.
Lifetime supply
Refills never push an item beyond its lifetime cap. Once that cap is exhausted, no new copies appear; existing copies can still be traded or used.
What stays renewable
Coins and Diamonds are uncapped game currencies. Silver and Gold Siege tickets are renewable and non-finite, but soulbound. Golden Seeds have no separate cap because every Seed consumes finite inputs. $SOLG follows its token contract.
The game shows live availability and the next refill wherever a limited source is active. If no schedule is shown, no unconfirmed amount is presented as available stock.
Golden Seeds & Mastery
One random recipe, one derived Seed
Your current recipe contains exactly three ores, three renewable hunt trophies and three ingredients. A successful craft consumes every required input, adds one Golden Seed, and assigns a new random recipe. The Seed can be traded before it is spent.
Six connected disciplines
Each branch has prerequisite paths and rank thresholds. Choose the parts of Sol Garden you want to specialize in; learned ranks persist across sessions.
Rank costs
| Talent tier | Golden Seed cost | Maximum ranks |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | 1 per rank | 20 |
| Legendary | 5 | 1 |
| Ultimate | 10 | 1 |
Learning a rank permanently spends exactly the displayed number of Golden Seeds. The same Seed can never be spent twice.
Rarities & what is tradeable
Every item tells you whether it is tradeable for $SOLG or soulbound to your account. Finite rewards also follow their displayed stock and per-account limits.
The rarity ladder
Rainbow, Galaxy and Named are three separate rarities above Mythical. Named is the final rarity.
| Item | How you get it | Trading |
|---|---|---|
| Tower finishes (Obsidian to Galaxy) | Garden Siege drops: guaranteed first drop past wave 10, deeper realms roll rarer | Tradeable |
| Wearable gear | Every type is craftable; swords, shields, spellbooks and companions can also drop from Garden Siege | Tradeable |
| Unique towers (supply-capped) | Finite $SOLG Shop releases or a reward-wheel prize while exact stock remains | Tradeable |
| Named-rarity items | Crafted only by the Game Master for special events | Tradeable |
| Guard dogs | Shop: Pup + Thornmastiff for Coins, Cerberus for $SOLG, or wheel prizes | Soulbound |
| Suits (51 characters) | Craft 12 monster-dropped fragments in the open worlds; every craft mints a tradeable character | Tradeable |
| Plants (41 species) | Bought with Coins; rare species gated by tier, Mythicals by referrals | Soulbound |
| Siege run tickets | Silver for Coins, Gold for $SOLG (escalating daily), or rare in-run drops | Soulbound |
| Ores, ingredients & suit fragments | Mined, foraged and hunted in the open worlds, daily-capped; consumed by crafting and cooking | Tradeable |
| Golden Seed | Crafted from a random nine-input finite-material recipe, or bought from another player | Tradeable |
| Garden Keeper the farmhand | First 200 accounts free, then 0.5 SOL, one per wallet | Soulbound |
Selling requires the displayed real $SOLG holding threshold. A listing reserves the exact item or quantity until a verified wallet payment sends it to the buyer. Cancelling returns the same item or quantity to the seller.
Staking
Stake $SOLG to earn $SOLG from a pre-funded 25,000,000 $SOLG reward pool paid out over 90 days, shared across all stakers (the rate is variable). Staked tokens keep working in the game too: they count toward your tier and Diamonds at a boosted multiplier, so locking never costs you game features. Claim or compound anytime.
| Tier | Lock | Rewards | Diamonds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flexible | None - unstake anytime | 1x | 1.2x |
| 1 Month | 30 days | 2x | 2x |
| 3 Months | 90 days | 4x | 3x |
Your principal sits in program custody the team cannot touch: the staking program's on-chain bytecode is verified against its public source, and its upgrade authority is held by a multisig. Leaving a lock early costs a 10% penalty that flows back into the reward pool for everyone else.
Trade & rewards
Marketplace
Trade suits, fragments, ores, ingredients, hunt trophies, finishes, gear, unique towers and Golden Seeds for $SOLG. Siege tickets are soulbound and never enter the market. A listing locks the exact item or quantity in marketplace escrow; verified wallet-to-wallet settlement moves it to the buyer. A 10% fee goes to the treasury.
Reward wheel
Spin the wheel with $SOLG for a shot at tickets, guard dogs, unique towers - or the Jackpot, which pays out the entire prize pool. Spins fund the pool, a weekly leaderboard reward, and the protocol.
Weekly leaderboard rewards
40% of every wheel spin funds a weekly prize pool paid to the top 100 gardens by value, weighted by holding tier. Rankings are public for everyone, and payouts verify real wallet holdings so the pool reaches qualifying players.
All in-game items are granted directly to your game inventory. $SOLG purchases are wallet-to-wallet and verified on-chain.
Referrals & account control
Qualified referrals
Share the Invite link from the HUD. The first referrer is recorded once; a friend qualifies after a sustained, real Sprout-tier $SOLG hold. Milestones unlock five exclusive Mythical plants with unique Arena abilities.
Guest gardens stay under your control
You can play locally before connecting a wallet. When you do connect, the import choice is shown once and remembered on that device. Refusing never overwrites either garden; approving performs the guarded transfer.
30-day account deletion grace
A signed deletion request waits 30 full days. Nothing is removed during that period and you can cancel. Final deletion waits until any open sale, payment or reward is resolved, preventing partial data loss; it never moves your wallet, keys, on-chain assets or staking positions.

Raid & visit
Sol Garden is social. Visit other players' gardens, climb the tier leaderboards, and tangle with your neighbours - all without anyone losing their plants.
Raiding
Sneak into a ripe garden and skim up to 40% of a plant's pending Coins - the owner always keeps the majority, and nothing is destroyed. Raids are matched within a tier or two and capped per day, so it stays cheeky, not punishing.
Guards & gifts
A fed guard dog can catch raiders, block the steal and fine them. Feeling generous? Mark a ripe plant as a gift - it becomes un-raidable, and a friend can harvest the full reward while you earn applause.
