Protect the Heart
Garden Siege is endless tower defense. Enemies follow the lanes toward your Heart, and your job is to stop them. Place towers, improve your coverage and keep going through the waves. Your roster comes from plants you own and unique towers you've collected.
You earn Sap from kills and cleared waves. Spend it on towers and upgrades during the run. Keep an eye on that balance when planning your next build; it's separate from your account's Coins.
02
Know the towers you are bringing
Check the towers available in your run before building. Look at their cost, range and attack behavior. Start with what you can afford, then improve the positions that are doing the most useful work.
Here are three plant towers and three unique towers from the roster. What you can use depends on what you own. Tower finishes change their appearance; owning a finish doesn't unlock a unique tower.

03
Plan for the first waves
Take a look at the route before placing anything. A bend can give your tower more time to attack. A junction might let it cover more than one approach. Check every entrance so you don't leave a lane open.
Spread your defense where it's needed, then upgrade the towers doing the work. A strong tower still needs enemies within reach. Check each tower's role and element before spending the rest of your Sap.
- Look at the entrances, lanes and Heart before starting the wave.
- Place an affordable opening defense along the active route.
- Use Sap from cleared waves to strengthen weak areas.
- Between waves, choose a boon that complements your towers and the run's immediate needs.
04
Choose boons for the run you have
Between waves, pick a boon to help your current setup. The choices can improve damage, range, fire rate, crit, splash, Sap or lives. Need to reach another stretch of path? Range may help. Enemies surviving your attacks? Look at damage. Read the exact effect before choosing.
A boss arrives every tenth wave. Every hundredth brings a Phoenix that rises again from the ashes. Get ready before they arrive: check your coverage and upgrade the towers that can reach the boss route.
05
Read the wave before spending more Sap
Watch the early waves. Which towers keep attacking? Where do enemies slip through? Does the path bring them back into range? Use that to decide where your next upgrade will help.
Choose boons that work with your towers. Splash can help against groups, while extra range can reach another part of the path. Check what's offered in your run and pick what helps with the problem you're having.
| What you see | What to inspect next |
|---|---|
| Enemies arrive from an uncovered entrance | Trace that lane and add a tower that can reach it. |
| A tower rarely attacks | Check its range against the path before buying its next upgrade. |
| Large groups reach the Heart | Look for splash or additional coverage along the busiest stretch. |
| A boss survives your usual defense | Prepare more sustained damage on its route before the next boss wave. |
| You cannot afford a planned upgrade | Check current Sap and prioritize the weakest part of your defense. |

Realms, tickets and rewards
Clear wave 100 to unlock the next realm. When you move on, take a moment to learn the new route. Your last layout may leave one of its entrances uncovered.
Your first run each day is free. For more runs, use Silver tickets bought with Coins or Gold tickets bought with $SOLG in the web game. Tickets can also drop during a run. They're soulbound, so they can't be sold in Marketplace.
Siege can reward tower finishes, equipment and materials. The rarity and available supply decide what can drop. After your run, check your inventory for gear to equip, materials to keep and items you might want to trade.
